Day 11- A Picture from a date function/formal/semi-formal
This is me at my last Phi Mu formal.
It was this spring at Martin’s West in Security, MD.
Steph was our Special Events chair and planned the evening and it was wonderful.
I loved being on Special Events committee to help plan it!
The dress was borrowed from one of my big’s best friends, Lisa.
Shoes were repeats from last year’s formal. As were earrings.
Hair was done by Adrienne (looking awesome in back) in a fishtail braid.
Makeup was done by me & my twin, Laura.
All in all, I spent no money other than to pay for the tickets. :) :) :)
My date was my little, AJ. A bunch of my other favorite LXA guys were in attendance as well. I had the pleasure of dining with 3 out of 4 of my littles, with the 4th nearby. The night was so much fun and definitely one I will never forget :)

Last night was Phi Mu Formal 2011, my last Phi Mu Formal. I was worried about a lot of things leading up to the night, including finding a dress, not having a bar lol, doing my hair, doing my makeup, finishing the awards on time. But, as always, everything worked out, and the night was PERFECT. I loved everything about it, and I had a great time with all the people that I love.
I went with AJ as my date, and my! do we make a handsome couple! He is so wonderful. I love my little! :) There were also 4 other of my LXA lovahs, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dancing with them was fantastic; they are so hilarious. Dancing with my sisters was so much fun. God, I love formal! <3
Awards were fanatasic. Adrienne and I did a great job with them, and everyone seemed happy, laughed at (most of) our jokes, and really enjoyed the presentation. My little Marley won one of our more serious awards, the Les Soeurs Fideles Award for the loyal sisterhood. She is amazing!
And… I won Sister of the Year!!! :) (And I won Phi of the Year in Spring 2009!) I love my chapter so much! Thank you for the honor, for the wonderful evening last night, and for making the last three years of my life the best experience of my life. I’m so glad that Phi Mu is for a lifetime!

TODAY IS PHI MU FORMAL.
Here I am with two of my sisters, Rachel and Katie at SAE’s Fall Formal. It was definitely an interesting evening with new and old friends. Tonight will be an excellent evening of all of the people I love most! I can’t wait to take my Super-Princess Lineage Picture! I cannot wait for tonight! :) :) :)

Todays Phi Mu Formal countdown photo is of me and Megan. This is us at White Rose ‘09.
Megan came through rush with me in Fall 08. She served as Vice President while I was President. She is a fantastic listener, a great-story teller, and can do ANY accent in the world (lololol)!
We have been to 6 formals together, and this one will be our 7th (2 semi-formals, 2 formals, and 2 white rose’s). I had so much fun with Megan last week at LXA White Rose, and am really looking forward to our last Phi Mu Formal together.

Today’s photo countdown to Phi Mu Formal features my “breast” friend, Dana.
Dana and I were incredibly close during our Phi period in Fall 2008. Since then, we have continued to be amazing friends and share laughs over the silliest things.
Today we had a nice catch up session while in the gym. Love you Dane! :)

White Rose 2011
Last night was Lambda Chi Alpha’s White Rose, their fraternity formal. Those who follow me clearly know, since I’ve made multiple posts about how excited I was for it.
I knew the evening was going to be amazing no matter what. The weather wasn’t awesome, so us girls wore trash bags over our dresses to protect them. Alyssa got sick and couldn’t come (very sad about this one), so an alumni got to use her ticket. The boat wasn’t allowed to leave port, so we got a free open bar. The awards weren’t exactly printed correct, so we had an informal/funny award ceremony.
The food was delicious. The servers were excellent. The bar was great. The music was good. The people around me were the best I could have asked for. It was a wonderful evening.
Last night I was named Lambda Chi Alpha Sweetheart 2011. I wasn’t actually there when they announced it the first time… so my sister Megan had to come and get me. hahah
As I walked onto the top of the boat, the men of LXA were in a semi circle calling for me to join them. They enveloped me in this circle, and my BFTAG Reece presented the award to me, telling me that I was the woman that best represented the values of their Fraternity and was very important to all of them. Then they gave me a giant group hug. It was really hilarious and perfect.
I don’t think this little award has ever meant more to any other woman as it does to me. This Fraternity has meant so much to me for so long. I love you guys a lot, and I am very very thankful to have you in my life. I’m happy I don’t have any real brothers, because I couldn’t ask for anyone better to consider my big brothers than Lambda Chi Alpha - Phi Delta Zeta. <3
